Donald James Wry October 20, 1936 - January 29, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Campbell's Funeral Home Donald James Wry age 68 of Amherst passed away on Saturday January 29, 2005 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan. Born in Sackville, N.B. he was a son of Margaret (Adams) Wry and the late Marshall Wry. Don was in the Armed Forces in his younger years and later drove transport trucks for different companies in Ontario and Alberta. When he returned to Amherst he was employed with Robb Engineering. Don enjoyed playing cards, listening to blue grass music and watching a good wrestling match. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, the former Marina Vienneau; one sister Judy (Norman) Walsh of Toronto, ON; four brothers Colin (Jean) of Sackville, N.B.; Kenneth (Fran), Bill, and Stuart all of Toronto, ON; sister in law Lois of Picton, ON and many nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by one son in infancy and one brother Terrence. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service by the request of Donald. Burial will take place in the spring in the St. Charles-Nativity Cemetery. Donations in Don's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Nova Scotia Kidney Foundation. www.campbellsfh.
