CASSELL, Carrie Lorraine Past Matron Kingston Lodge #146 Order of the Eastern Star Passed away at the Helen Henderson Care Centre on January 23, 2005, in her 98th year, with Christian faith, dignity and courage. She was the beloved wife of the late W ilfred A. Cassell, loving mother of Barbara Batson of Syracuse, New York and Dr. Wilfred A. Cassell of Anchorage, Alaska. She had two granddaughters Julie Carpenter and Sharon Johnson. She was loved by her ten great grandchildren Carrie, Travis, Jess e, Chad, Kali, Cara, Jenna, Steven Jr., Liam and Katie. She will be greatly missed by her loving niece Judy Neill and her husband Cecil. She leaves fond memories with her friends, retired teaching colleagues and former students, from the decades that she taught at Rideau School. Her family extends deep gratitude to the Bruce family (Mary, Bob, Eileen and Donna as well as her husband David), who over the years were always there for her. All who so greatly loved Carrie are also deeply appreciative of the caring staff at Helen Henderson Care Centre. There will be a private interment at Cataraqui Cemetery. The family will celebrate Carrie's life with a memorial service the time of which will be announced at a later date. As expressions of sympa thy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Princess Street United Church Memorial Fund, 484 Albert Street, K7L 4T8.
