Robert D. Colpitts CALGARY, AB - Robert David Colpitts of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 from complications following surgery for cancer at Foothills Hospital in Calgary. He was 64 years old. Born in Fawcett Hill, NB, on November 22, 1940, he was the son of the late Ralph and Nellie (Goddard) Colpitts. A graduate of Petitcodiac Regional High School, he was a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces, and retired from the Federal Civil Service in 2000. He leaves to mourn his daughter, Diana Colpitts, of Calgary; and two grandsons, Christopher and Kayne. He also leaves a sister, Ruth Williamson, of Riverview, NB; an aunt, Ruth Blakney, of Intervale, NB; his stepmother, Freda Colpitts of Fawcett Hill; his stepbrother, Gordon Douglas of Moncton; an aunt by marriage, Etta Goddard of Intervale; a niece and several nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by two uncles, Heber and Ottie Goddard, and a stepsister, Margaret Rice. Funeral Service will be held at Fish Creek Chapel, Calgary SE, on Friday, February 4,2005 at 2:30 pm. Arrangements are in charge of McInnis and Holloway Funeral Homes.
