Margaret "Peggy" A.A. Frances (née MacMichael) March 25, 1918 - January 30, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) FRANCIS (MacMichael, deCailleaux), Margaret A.A. "Peggy" - 86, passed away peacefully in Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. The daughter of the late George and Albina (deCailleaux) MacMichael, Peggy was born March 25, 1918, in Brooklyn, New York. She is survived by children, Stephen Sullivan, Florida; Patrick Sullivan, British Columbia; Victor Thomson Jr., Ontario; Patricia (Jackson), Dartmouth; Clifford Francis, British Columbia; Lynne Cooper (Goffs), and sister, Ruth (Thomson), Ontario. Peggy was predeceased by brother, John; husbands, Maurice Sullivan, Victor Thomson, and Ted Francis. Peggy was a long-time resident and active member of the Fall River community. She spent many years as a volunteer for the Ladies Auxiliary at the Waverley Legion. She enjoyed an active lifestyle and had many hobbies, including swimming, darts and bridge. Peggy was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be deeply missed by all. Cremation has taken place under the direction the care and direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville. A private service will be held at a later date. A reception will be held 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, February 2. Please call 873-3659 for details. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
