Paul John KRAWCHUK

Paul John Krawchuk (1933-2005) GALLOWAY, NB - Paul John Krawchuk, 71, of Galloway, NB, passed away at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Born in Glenden, Alberta he was the son of the late Fred Krawchuk and the late Helen (Harbarenko) Krawchuk. Paul was retired, he had been a T.V. repairman from 1955 to 1972 and had delivered mail in the Rexton area for many years. His favorite pastimes were Crossword puzzles and reading. He attended Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Roman Catholic Church, Indian Island. Paul is survived by his wife, Irene Richard, beloved wife of 36 years; two daughters, Mary Alice Glasgow (Russel) of Saint John, Sheilla Ann Scott (David) of Atlanta; two sons, Gerard (Elaine) of Rexton, Michael of Calgary, AB; four grandchildren, Jillian, Kenzie, Lachlan, Hanna; five step children, Theresa Cormier of Richibucto, Dorina Adkins (Gary) of Indian Island, John Vautour (Rachel Augustine) of Galloway, Shirley Myers (Wayne) of Richibucto, Valmond Vautour (Kelly) of Saint John. The youngest of 12 children, Paul is also survived by three sisters and one brother, all of Alberta and by several nieces and nephews. Paul was very fond of animals and will be sadly missed by his cat Sam. As per Paul's wish, there will be no visitation prior to the Funeral Service. The Funeral Service will be held at Thompson's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at 8:00 P.M.
