M. Constance Wood THE GLADES, NB - Margaret Constance (Connie) Wood, 82, of The Jordan Lifecare Center, The Glades passed away February 1, 2005 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Taunton, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Carlyle and Katherine (Whyte) Colpitts. Connie was an active writer and loved music. She was a well known soloist and sang at weddings, her churches and the Moncton Music Festival. She was retired from the C.N.R. General Office in Moncton and The Moncton Public Library. Survived by step-sons, Kenneth, Gordon, Arthur and George Wood and by cousins and second cousins. Predeceased by her husband, Charles L. Wood; an infant brother, David; aunts, Eva J. Mullins and Margaret Burt. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Thursday, February 3 from 10 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 11 a.m., Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment at Forest Glen Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, memorials to the Cancer Society or Forest Glen Cemetery would be appreciated. www.keirsteads.ca
