Harold A. HORGAN

HORGAN, HAROLD A. - The death of Harold A. Horgan, husband of Gertrude T. (Daley) Horgan, occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Monday, February 1, 2005. Mr. Horgan was born in St. Catherine's, Ont., a son of the late Frank and Julia (Cleary) Horgan, and had resided the greater part of his life in Saint John. He had been employed in the accounting departments of Crystal Oil and at Centracare until his retirement a number of years ago. He was an avid sports fan and had been active in the Babe Ruth Baseball League. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Patrick Horgan (Jennifer) of Fort MacMurray, Alberta, and Sean Horgan of Saint John; two brothers, Frank Horgan (Jeanne) of Don Mills, Ont., and Gerald Horgan (Roberta) of Saint John; two sisters, Barbara Drury (D'Arcy) of Hamilton, Ont., and Janice Bryan (Gerald) of Ottawa; one granddaughter, Catherine Elizabeth Horgan; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Wednesday from 7 to 9 and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
