Jennie V. Wells BAIE VERTE, NB - The death of Jennie V. Wells, age 90, of Baie Verte, occurred at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville on Tuesday, February 1, 2005. Born in Tidnish, NB, she was a daughter of the late William and Minnie (Tucker) Kirby. Jennie was a honorary member of the Baie Verte Senior Citizens Club and a member of the St. James United Church, Baie Verte. Jennie will be sadly missed by a son, Larry (Lynne), Moncton; four daughters, Barbara (Robert) Haley, Sackville, Carolyn (James) Scott, Baie Verte, Hazel Stephens and Donna Stephens, both of Sackville; and a sister, Nettie Wells, Baie Verte., 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Hazen; a son, Alan; and by brothers and sisters, Gertrude, Annie, Beston, Grace, Ivan, Russell, Lorne, Hazel and Bertram. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin (364-1300) with visitation on Thursday, February 3, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. James United Church, Baie Verte on Friday at 2 pm., Sue King-Darby officiating. Burial in the Baie Verte Cemetery in the spring.
