Albert Alfred Wheeler June 13, 1918 - February 03, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Bowman Funeral Home WHEELER: Albert Alfred, of Chatham, passed away on Thursday, February, 3, 2005. Born in Galt, Ontario, 86 years ago, son of the late Fred Wheeler and Mary (Robb). Surviving are his wife the former Areta (Leidy), two sons Allan and Shirley of St. Charles, Ernest and wife Nata of Chatham, one daughter Mary and husband Adrian Roy of Chatham, eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, a sister Kathleen and husband John McCue of Rockford, Illonois, a brother-in-law Orlen and wife Nellie of Branchton, and a sister-in-law Marg Leidy of Kitchener. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Albert came to Chatham in 1964 and was a member of the Masonic Wellington Victory Masonic Lodge #46 and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28. Friends will be received at the Bowman Funeral Home, 4 Victoria Avenue, Chatham, (519-352-2390) for visitation on Sunday, Feb 6, 2005 from 2-5pm. The Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, February 7, 2005 at 11:00am from Christ Anglican Church, 80 Wellington St. W., Chatham with The Rev. Paul Millward officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Oldcastle. Contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be apprciated.
