GILBERT, Rose (DesRoches), Peacefully on Monday, January 3, 2005 at Oakwood Park Lodge in her 92nd year. Rose Gilbert, beloved wife of the late Edmund DesRoches (1965), and the late Harry Gilbert (1976). Loving mother of Ed DesRoches of N.S., Earl D esRoches of P.E.I., Nelson, Jack and Eldon DesRoches, all of St. Catharines, Denise Gaudet of P.E.I., Laverne Perry, Marie Muir, Lillian Langridge and Maggie Buunk, all of St. Catharines. Dear sister of Phoebe Arsenault and Willie Arsenault. Cherishe d Grandma of 37, Great-grandma of 46 and Great-Great-grandma of 9. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, daughters-in-law and sons-in-law. Rose was predeceased by a daughter, Doris Dunford (1992). Rose's family will receive relatives and friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy without Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel on Thursday, January 6, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. Cremation.
