MOWRY, Laura Nellie (nee Coleman), Born in McNab, Ont., July 9, 1913, passed away peacefully at St. Mary's General Hospital, in the arms of her beloved niece, Laura, on Thursday, February 10, 2005. Predeceased by her husband, Doug in 1985. She will be sadly missed by her special sister and friend, Leila Watts and her husband Harry of Kitchener; nieces and nephews, Laura Nahls (Roy) of Kitchener, Roy Watts (Susan) of Malahat, B.C., Helen Mowry of Edinburgh, Scotland, Thomas Mowry and Jean Bezley and family of Hamner, Ont.; great-niece Laura Nahls and great-nephews, Benjamin Deacon (Treana), Jeremy Watts, Donovan Watts and Dylan Watts. For 91 years, Laura was steadfast in her faith, her love and devotion to family and tireless volunteering. She will especially be remembered for her work with KPL and Canadian Red Cross and the community hospital in New Port Richey, Florida. Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service for Laura in the chapel of the RATZ-BECHTEL FUNERAL HOM E & CREMATION CENTRE, 621 King St. W, Kitchener on Sunday, February 13, 2005 at 1 p.m. Private interment at McNab Cemetery.
