Irene Kathleen Edwards (née Cuttle) July 23, 1914 - February 06, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Duncan) Born July 23, 1914 in Forest Hill, South London. Died February 6, 2005 in Cowichan District Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband David in 1976. She is lovingly remembered by daughters Christine (Ken) and Gillian (Norm) and grandsons Erik and Mark. She is also survived by sisters Edith, Cicely and Margaret; nieces Dorothy, Alison and Penelope and their children. Irene was a primary teacher for many years at St. Pauls School in Esquimalt and at Norfolk House School in Victoria. She lived at Prospect Lake before moving to Duncan in 1976. She was an independent lady to the end. Many thanks to the staff of 2 North & South for their loving care. A special thank you to her loving friend Pam Clement for all her support. Celebration of Life will be held in the Duncan United Church, 246 Ingram Street, Duncan, BC on Friday, February 11, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Duncan Barwise officiating. Flowers gratefully declined.
