Daniele "Danny" DiBenedetto November 04, 1968 - February 09, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) DiBENEDETTO, Daniele "Danny" - 37, Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2005. Born in Halifax on November 4, 1968, he was a son of Nunzita "Tina" (Zavarella) and Venanzio "Vince" DiBenedetto, Hammonds Plains. Also surviving are his spouse, Trisha Muise and their son, Giovanni; his brother, Anthony "Tony", Beaver Bank; niece, Alexandria; nephew, Aaron; parents-in-law, John and Doreen (Allen) Muise, Yarmouth; many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends both here and overseas. He was predeceased by grandparents, Giovanni and Maria (Presutti) Zavarella, Antonio and Laura (Carducci) DiBenedetto. Danny grew up in Bedford, where he attended Charles P. Allen High School. He was a carpenter by trade and worked alongside his father doing masonry work for many years. He and his family owned and operated Tim Horton's franchises at Kingswood Drive and Bedford Highway. Danny loved life and lived it to the fullest each day. He enjoyed driving his Harley and being in the outdoors, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and boating. A sports enthusiast, he especially enjoyed boxing. A "social butterfly", Danny's kind, helpful and generous nature attracted many good friends with whom he enjoyed great times. Arrangements are entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax, where visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 14, at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Mumford Rd., Halifax, by Father Lloyd O'Neill and Archbishop James Hayes. Reception will follow in St. Agnes Church Hall. Family flowers only.
