Born December 30, 1920, in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margery (Wallace) Doyle. She is survived by children, Joan (Con) Marsh, Lakeside; Lawrence (Mary) Nicholson, Halifax; Marilyn Singer, Cowie Hill; Valerie (Roger) Cormier, Johnstown, Cape Breton; Sandra (Greg) Milton, Halifax; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean (Charles) Power, Lakeside, and Barbara (Raymond) Houle, Entrelacs, Que. She was predeceased by husband, Gordon W. Nicholson. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 9, from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 10, at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Timberlea, Father James Richards officiating. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
