HAMMOND, Catherine Edith (Kay), Surrounded by her loving family on February 10, 2005 at Shaver Hospital, St. Catharines. Loving mother of Allan and Lorraine Hammond of Thorold, Bruce and Connie Hammond of St. Catharines; beloved friend and companion to Tommy Capone of Thorold; cherished grandmother of Cheri Ann & Michael Beckman of St. Catharines, Shane Hammond of Woodstock, Kris Thiele of Thorold, Robynne Thiele of St. Catharines, Ross and Kara Hammond of Toronto, Gina and Dennis Brady of Niag ara Falls; also survived by 9 great-grandchildren. Loving sister to Jim Bell of Merritton and Margaret Lindsay of Powassan, ON. Predeceased by her husband Ross (1990) and her sister Veronica Green. Survived by many nieces and nephews. After more than 30 years service with General Motors, Kay retired in 1983, she was an active member of the Grantham Lioness in St. Catharines for many years and a regular assistance to Barsy at the Canadian Corp in Thorold. The family would like to thank the wonder ful nurses at Shaver Hospital for all their kindness and compassion. Kay will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed by all those who knew her. The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, 905-68 4-6346, on Saturday, February 12, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be conducted by the Grantham Lioness at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Sunday, February 13, 2005 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian C ancer Society would be appreciated by the family. - 2/12/2005 - ID5673615
