Mildred E. MCNAMARA

FAIRWEATHER, MILDRED E. - The death of Mildred E. (Millie) Fairweather of 115 Burpee Avenue, Saint John, wife of the late Roy R. Fairweather (1993), occurred on February 5, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Angus T. and Mary Ellen (McGovern) McNamara. Millie was a lifetime resident of Saint John, a member of Germain Street Baptist Church. In her earlier years, Mrs. Fairweather owned and operated Hilltop Kindergarten and touched the lives of hundreds of children. She is survived by one son, David Roy Fairweather (Susan); one grandson, Mark Roy Fairweather (Natasha); two nieces; two nephews; and several grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Malcolm McNamara. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday from 7-9 PM. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at 11:00 AM, from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
