Michael MELINKO

MELINKO, Michael (Mike), Peacefully, in his 83rd year, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday, January 20, 2005. Mike is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen (nee McKay). Dear father of Gerry and his wife Wanda and Wayne and his wife Kimberly. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Brad, Amanda, Michael and Jentry. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Victoria. Survived by his sisters Katherine Malek of Cornwall, Birdie Chapman of Monetville and Doreen (Victor) Laubach of St. Catharines. Mike was a long time employee of the Canadian Oxygen Company. He was an avid gardener and hobby farmer during his retirement years. The Melinko family would like to thank Dr. J. Giesbrecht and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the St. Catharines General Hospital for their care and kindness. As per Mike's wishes, cremation has taken place.
