John Kellum PENDERGAST

PENDERGAST, John Kellum, Surrounded by his family at the St. Catharines General Hospital, John died on Saturday, January 29, 2005 in his 88th year. John, loving husband of Muriel (nee MacKinnon). Dear father of Mark and his wife Sue and Roberta, all of Niagara Falls. He is lovingly remembered by his granddaughter Kate. He is survived by his sister Jean Tiefenback of London, Ontario and predeceased by his sister, Helen Conte. John worked at the family fruit farm in Queenston until 1956. He then was employed by Canada Manpower as an employment councillor, until his retirement in 1979. He volunteered with Niagara Peninsula Homes for a number of years and was a member of the United Church of Canada. Cremation taken place. A Memorial Service wi ll be held at St. David's United Church, 1453 York Rd., (south side), St. David's on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment to be held.
