PYNN, Edsel (Ed) Freeman, Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on January 15, 2005. After a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife Florence Pearl (Gill) Pynn. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret (1988). L oving father of Gerald (Stephanie) Pynn, Jeffery (Shelly) Pynn. Dear grandfather of Keeanna, Kellsie, and Samuel. Loving step-father of Dan (Liz) Gill, Kathy (John) Mulder, Scott Gill, and Shari (Bert) Shrum. Dear step-grandfather (Papa) of Dana, Jen nifer, Bethany, Amy, Sarah, Kerri, Emily, Arron, Matthew, and Arindna. Devoted brother of Janet Sieber, Leslie (Margaret) Pynn, Reginald (Wanda) Pynn, Marie (Walter) Gill, brother-in-law Ed Eastman. Predeceased by sister Iris Downey, Gerald Pynn and sister-in-law Aneta Cole. Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, 1925. Ed was a veteran of the Second World War serving with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders 1943-1946. He was employed with the St. Lawrence Seaway 1953-1987. At Ed's request, cremation has take n place. A one hour visitation will take place at PATRICK J. DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, (39 Court Street, St. Catharines) on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. followed by the service in celebration of Ed's life.
