PYNN, Edsel (Ed) Freeman, Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on January 15, 2005. After a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife Florence Pearl (Gill) Pynn. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret (1988). L oving father of Gerald (Stephanie) Pynn, Jeffery (Shelly) Pynn. Dear grandfather of Keeanna, Kellsie, and Samuel. Loving step-father of Dan (Liz) Gill, Kathy (John) Mulder, Scott Gill, and Shari (Bert) Shrum. Dear step-grandfather (Papa) of Dana, Jen nifer, Bethany, Amy, Sarah, Kerri, Emily, Arron, Matthew, and Arindna. Devoted brother of Janet Sieber, Leslie (Margaret) Pynn, Reginald (Wanda) Pynn, Marie (Walter) Gill, brother-in-law Ed Eastman. Predeceased by sister Iris Downey, Gerald Pynn and sister-in-law Aneta Cole. Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, 1925. Ed was a veteran of the Second World War serving with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders 1943-1946. He was employed with the St. Lawrence Seaway 1953-1987. At Ed's request, cremation has take n place. A one hour visitation will take place at PATRICK J. DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, (39 Court Street, St. Catharines) on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. followed by the service in celebration of Ed's life. In lieu of flowers, Ed's request is for memorial donations to be made to the Salvation Army or the Anglican Church of The Transfiguration. - 1/19/2005 - ID5546137
