RASMUSSEN, Herbert F., It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their husband, father and grandfather (FarFar & MorFar), peacefully at home in Niagara Falls on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, after battling cancer. Herb leaves his w ife of 54 years Hanne (Tonners), his son Finn (and his wife Lene) of Wainfleet, daughter Yvonne Cox (Stu), sons Alan and Torben (Kathy Varga) of Niagara Falls and son Niels (Barb Hall) of Vineland. He also leaves 15 grandchildren, who will miss him d early. He was always ready to lend a hand and led an active family life both here and in Denmark. He was the founder of Dundas Pattern Limited (Niagara Pattern), former President of Sunset Villa Danish Club and served as a Sergeant Major in the Canad ian Militia. He was also inducted into the Knightly Order of St. George. A private family service was held on Friday, Feb. 4, 2005 at Herb's request. - 2/12/2005 - ID5673620
