SIMPSON, James, Suddenly at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday, January 17, 2005 in his 59th year. Best buddy & Daddy to Nicole, loving brother of Karen (Doug) Backshall and Heather (Leroy) Nickerson. Also survived by his girlfriend Judy Dutcher, his nephews Heath Nicholson & Todd Nickerson, his nieces Sheri (Eddie) Guidry & Hollie Nicholson. Great nieces and nephews Dezeree, Rebecka, Grady, Logan and his many friends. He is predeceased by his parents Margaret & Ormand Simpson and hi s sister Josephine. Before his retirement, Jim worked at Dana Canada as did his father. Jim's world revolved around his daughter Nicole, his family, stock car racing and his many racing buddies. Prior to surgery, Jim was also an avid bowler at Fairvi ew & Parkway Lanes and was anticipating returning to the leagues in the fall. We will never understand why you are gone Jim, but we will always treasure our family memories. You will not be forgotton. Your strength, love, determination & sick sense o f humour will be missed by all who knew you. Until we see you at the races in heaven, we will try to carry on without you. We love you Neb. You get the checkered flag. Jim is at the BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 33 Duke St. (at James) where the family will re ceive friends on Wednesday & Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, January 21, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill.
