STANLEY, Robert Elliot "Bob" May 14, 1928 - January 28, 2005, It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved husband, father and grandfather after a long illness. Beloved husband of Pat. Loving father of Susan, Gay, Frank ( Shannon) and Graham (Kyra) Stanley. Dear grandfather of Johannah, Liam, Jack, Luke and Kaiden. Dear brother of Gordon (Mary) Stanley. Bob was a devoted Ridleian and taught for 37 years in the History Department and then went on to be the Director of the Development Office for 6 years; during the Second Century Campaign. After his retirement, Bob loved to travel, visit with his grandchildren in the West coast and had a passion for Hiking and Skiing. A Memorial Service will be held at Ridley Colle ge, 2 Ridley Road, St. Catharines, on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the Ridley Chapel. Reception to follow. If desired, Memorial Donations in Bob's name can be made to a charity of one's choice or to the Stanley Family Bursary.
