Lester E. ANTWORTH

ANTWORTH, LESTER E. - Of Upper Knoxford, NB passed away Saturday, February 12, 2005 at the Hotel Dieu of Saint Joseph Hospital, Perth, New Brunswick. He was the son of the late Albert and Lucy (Green) Antworth. Born on July 15, 1928 at Summerfield, New Brunswick. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Lois (Ed) Palmer and a brother, Wallace Antworth. He is survived by his wife Laura Jean (Keyes); children: Gail Reid (Richard), Dwight Antworth, Mary Jane Clark (Dale), Wallace Antworth (Nancy), Eugene Antworth (Sandi), Kevin Antworth (Krista); grandchildren: Ross Clark, Emily Reid, Jacqueline Antworth, Eric Smith, Maren Antworth, Lauren Antworth, Ethan Antworth, Greyson Antworth, Brittany Antworth, Drake Antworth; and sister Sharral Goodwin (Al) of Halifax, NS; nieces and nephews. Resting at The Knoxford Praying Band Church with visitation on Sunday, February 13, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services to be held on Monday, February 14, 2005 at 2:00 from the Knoxford Praying Band Church with Rev. Stephen Budd of Upper Knoxford United Baptist Church officiating. Active Pallbearers will be Dale Graham, David Alward, Percy Mockler, Kirk MacDonald, Brad Green, Jody Carr, Larry Kennedy, Mike Allen. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Black, Andy Tibbits, Kenneth Reid, Ralph Culberson, Carvell Antworth, Steven Reid, Kay Cain and Iona Reid. Interment will be at Upper Knoxford United Baptist Church Cemetery at later date. Donations to the Upper Knoxford United Baptist Church or the Canadian Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
