Glenford L. WILLISTON

Glenford L. Williston 1924 - 2005 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mr. Glenford Livingston (Glenn) Williston, of the Leaside Grove Special Care Home, and formerly of Bay du Vin, passed away at The Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Sunday, February 13, 2005, at the age of 80. Born in Escuminac, he was the son of the late Livingston W. and Mary E. (Lewis) Williston. He was a retired employee of the N.B. Department of Transportation working as Highway Supervisor. He was a member as well as a former Warden of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin; a member of Miramichi Lodge #18, F&AM; a 32nd Degree Shriner; a member of the Highland Society, Miramichi Chapter; a member of Branch # 3, Royal Canadian Legion. He was a Veteran of the Second World War, serving in Canada with the Carleton York Regiment and the Cape Breton Highlanders. He is survived by three daughters, Tracy Williston-MacKay (Brian), of Toronto, ON, Lyvia Mae McKeegan (Paul), of Pickering, ON, Annaleisa Arciero (Bruno), of Richmond Hill, ON; three sons, Clay Williston (Maria), of Bay du Vin, Livy Williston (Lorraine), of Halifax, NS, Richard Williston (Lisa), of Peterborough, ON; and 16 grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Emily Williston and Lyvia Williston; and one brother, Robert Williston. Visiting will be held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, Miramichi on Monday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin, on Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Don Hamilton. Interment will be in the church cemetery later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
