JUSTASON, MABEL EUDORA - At the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour, NB, the death of Mrs. Mabel Eudora Justason, 99, wife of the late Chandler Alexander Justason, occurred on February 13, 2005, at her residence. Born in Back Bay, NB on January 25, 1906, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Floretta (Towers) Holmes. Mabel is survived by one daughter, Eudora Hatt (Harley); five grandchildren, Larry, Greg and Tim Hatt, Laurel Phillips and Cindy Clary; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Laura Cooke; several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by one son, Aubrey Justason; two sisters, Blanche Grant and Cora Dick; one brother, Willard Holmes; and a sister-in-law, Katherine Campbell. Mabel was a life long member of the Pennfield United Baptist Church, and was active in the Women's Missionary Society as well as being a Sunday School teacher for many years. Resting at the Pennfield United Baptist Church with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. and on Tuesday morning from 10 am till noon, followed by the funeral service at 2 pm with Rev. Grant Alcorn officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Fundy Nursing Home Chapel project or a charity of the donor's choice.
