STREB, MARGARET ADELE - M. Adele Streb (Little), widow of the late Ralph F. Streb (both formerly of Kennebecasis Drive, Saint John, NB) died peacefully on February 13, 2005 at the Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1914, Adele was the daughter of the late Lawrence H. and Abigail M. (Ashley) Little of Dinsmore, Saskatchewan. After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan, she and her husband lived in Saskatoon and Toronto before moving to Saint John in 1949 to set up the first Coca Cola franchise in New Brunswick with Adele's brother, the late Jack E. Little and his family. Adele was a member of the Royal Kennebeccasis Yacht Club, Riverside Country Club, the Union Club and, along with her husband, was very active in community affairs. Survived by her nephew, Ashley L. Little (Patricia) of Grand-Bay-Westfield; her niece, Judith A. (Brian Foster) of Saint John; great nephews, A. Lorne (Stacey) Little of Toronto, ON and Gregory (Jennifer) Foster of Quispamsis; great nieces, Kathleen M. Little of Toronto, Meranda R. Little of South Korea and Lauren M. (Foster)(Craig Gaudet) of Rothesay, NB. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Abigail and her brothers, Ashley L. and Jack E. Little. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday, February 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Thursday, February 17th at 3:30 pm. Interment will take place in the family plot in Saskatoon in late spring.
