Cyril Arthur Mosher March 11, 1921 - February 13, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) MOSHER, Cyril Arthur - 83, Halifax. It is with deepest sorrow that the family of Cyril Mosher, announce his passing on February 13, 2005, in Glades Lodge. Born in Halifax, March 11, 1921, he was a son of the late Lemual Arthur and Edith Maude (Backman) Mosher. He was retired after 37 years of service with HMC Dockyard. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of St. Mark's. He was a dedicated husband and wonderful father and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jean Evelyn (Nickerson) Mosher; daughter, Carol (Jerry) Slaunwhite, Lower Sackville; sons, Alan (Elaine), Halifax; Barry (Chris), White's Lake; grandchildren, Wendy (Jason) Studley, Lower Sackville; Jeffrey, White's Lake; sister, Dorothy (Mosher) Laverdure, and brother, Gerald A., both of Halifax; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Private burial will take place at a later date in Oakridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Sackville. Family flowers only. Donations in memory to a charity of choice.
