FLETCHER, MARY ELIZABETH "BETTY" The death of Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Fletcher of Fredericton occurred at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday, February 14, 2005. Born in Fredericton on October 4, 1925, she was the daughter of the late J. Edward and Eva M. Fisher. Betty is survived by her husband of 58 years, Alton J. Fletcher; two daughters, Lynda Hachey and husband David; Lanna Henry and husband Lorne all of New Maryland. "Ammie" will be greatly missed by grandchildren Craig Hachey and wife Pauline; Steven Hachey and wife Trista MichaudHachey; Graham Hachey and wife Tabatha; Lisa McIntosh and husband Leonard; and Brent Henry; great grandchildren Brittany and Bailey Hachey and Ashley, Jesse and Alicha Hachey all of the Fredericton area. Also survived by sister, Marjorie MacKay of Mississauga, Ontario and twin brother Allen Fisher and wife Joyce of Fredericton, several nieces, nephews and cousins and lifelong friend, Eva Currie. She was predeceased by brother Charles Fisher and his wife Jean; and brother- in- law, Ronald E. MacKay. A private family service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2005. Rev. Boyd Vincent will officiate. McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
