Eugene D. Campbell Eugene (Gene) D. Campbell 82, of Crystal Dr., Riverview passed away at his residence on Wednesday, February 16, 2005. Born in Public Landing, he was the son of the late Walter and Elsie (Pitt) Campbell. Gene was a former employee of Simms Ltd. Saint John, Leon's Ltd., ON and was a retired shipper with Gaylea Foods Ltd. Toronto, ON. He was a member of Moncton Curlers Association, attended Brentwood United Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the 2nd World War, served overseas with The Canadian Army. Gene will be sadly missed by his sister, Gertrude Pitt, Saint John; brother, Gerald (Hope), Saint John; brother-inlaw, Fred Sears (Winnifred), Moncton; sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Royden (Nelson), Mabel Rouse (Allan), both of Saint John and Helen Perry, Havelock, NB; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Norma J. (Sears) Campbell (October 2000); brothers, Herald and Kenneth. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton (858-1995), Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, February 19, 2005, 1:30pm; Rev. John Weiler officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
