Nellie B Eisener July 16, 1910 - February 17, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) EISENER, Nellie B. - 94, Cole Harbour, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family February 17, 2005, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Sober Island, she was a daughter of the late Lindsay and Annie (Logan) Verge. Nellie was the oldest resident of the original Cole Harbour community. She was a long-time member of the Women's Institute of Nova Scotia, Cole Harbour UCW and a member of the Campbells Seniors Group. Nellie loved being surrounded by her family and enjoyed travelling, playing cards and bowling. She is survived by daughters, Margaret (Don) Barry, Cole Harbour; Barbara (Danny) Killen, Porters Lake; Pauline (Eric) Naugler, Lawrencetown; Sandra (Danny) Bonn, Dartmouth; sons, Lloyd (Bunnie) Eisener, Kenneth Eisener, Graham Eisener, all of Cole Harbour; Robert (Joan) Eisener, Mineville; Terry (Angela) Eisener, Lawrencetown; 24 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; half-brothers, Raymond and Cecil Verge. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon; son, David; grandsons, Lawrence and Andrew Eisener; granddaughter, Cheryl (Barry) Crowell; sisters, Pearl, Theresa; brother, Bernard; half-brothers, Harry, Russell and Douglas Verge. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday in Cole Harbour United Church, Bissett Road, Rev. Susan MacAlpine-Gillis officiating, assisted by Dorothy "Dot" Bell. Burial in Woodlawn United Church Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to a charity of choice
