Marie J. Léger 1914 - 2005 SHEDIAC, NB - Marie J. Léger, 90, of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Barachois passed away on Friday, February 18, 2005 at the Villa Providence after a brief illness. Born August 11,1914 in SainteAnne-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Albert Caissie and the late Marie Jeanne Allain. Marie will be sadly missed by her loving family, six daughters, Antoinette Landry of Grand-Barachois, Sr. Huberte Léger, Fille de Jésus of Grand-Anse, Jeanne Gaudet (Ubald) of Dieppe, Lucille (Fernand LeBlanc) of Fox Creek, Murielle Doll (George) of Long Island, N.Y., and Cathy Furlong (Leon) of Moncton; three sons, Normand (Thérèse), Michel and Rhéo, all of GrandBarachois; two sisters, Odila Cormier of Grand-Barachois, and Mina Richard (Richard) of Richibucto; three half-sisters, Eugénie Léger of Shediac, Emerise Gaudet of Grand-Barachois, and Bernice Cormier of Richibucto Village; six half-brothers, Charles Caissie (Adeline) of Grand-Barachois, Régis Caissie (Aline Gallant) of Grande-Digue, Gérard Caissie (Angela) and Jean-Baptiste Caissie (Yvonne) all of SaintAntoine, Emerie Caissie (Corinne) of Caissie Village, and André Caissie of Richibucto Village; one step-sister, Laudia Williams of Dieppe; two stepdaughters, Lorette Bourque (Normand) of Cap-Brulé and Jeanne LeBlanc (Françis) of Leominster, Mass.; two step-sons, Emerie and Clarence Léger (Émilienne) all of Shediac; and by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her 1st husband Ulric Léger (1975); 2nd husband Camille Léger (1995); six sons, Ulysse, Bernard, Arthur, Fernand, Omer and Jean "Ti John" Léger; four sisters, Yvonne Arsenault, Elmire Richard, Edmée LeBlanc, Lorraine Richard; one brother, Alyre Caissie; one step-brother Zoël Caissie; one step-son, Normand Léger and by one grandson Louis Landry. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main Street, Shediac (5323297) on Sunday, from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Monday from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:40a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 21, 2005 at 11a.m. at SaintHenri Roman Catholic Church in GrandBarachois.
