Otis Trenholm PORT ELGIN, NB - The death of Otis Trenholm, 88, of Port Elgin, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on February 18, 2005. Born in Timber River, NB, he was a son of the late Tweedie and Ruthie (Dobson) Trenholm. Otis was foreman of Maintenance with CNR for 35 years. He was a member of the Sackville Oddfellows Lodge, the Port Elgin Senior Citizens Club and the Trinity United Church. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Juanita (Pauley), Port Elgin; two sons, Malcolm (Sherry), Belleville, ON, Kevin (Deborah), St. Stephen; son-in-law, John McEachern, St. Stephen; four step-sons, Lysle (Diana), Kentville, NS, Keith (Carmen), Dieppe, Wayne (Bernadine), Sackville, Dale (Jeanette), High Level, AB; a step-daughter, Beryl (George) Piccinin, Ancaster, ON; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret Rayworth in 1985; three daughters, Marlene and Gayle Trenholm, and Margaret-Ann McEachern; a son, Murray; and two brothers, Ivan and Carman. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Street, Port Elgin, NB (364-1300) with visiting hours on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from the funeral home on Sunday, February 20, 2005 at 2:30 PM, Rev. Jay Ettinger officiating. Burial will take place in the Fernwood Cemetery in the spring.
