EDGAR, Sydney Henry - Went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Saturday, February 5, 2005 in his 90th year. Dearly beloved husband for 66 years to Jeanie (Speirs), his 'Wee Pet." Proud and loving father of seven: Margaret (James Gregory) of Florida, Marilyn (Doug Richards) of London, David (Lynda), Robert (Sharron) of Florida, Kenneth (Monica), Elizabeth (Fred Bell) and Heather (late Michael Ingram). Doting Poppa of 27 and Great Grandpa of 10 1/2. Son of the late John and Ada Edgar. Loved brother of Ed (Marian). Mort (Ella), Doreen and late: Bill, Clarice (Hodgins), infant Raymond. Brother-in-law of Elsie (late John Fuller), the late: Marg and Egbert Talsma, Agnes and Edgar Dudgeon, Joan and Ray Dudgeon. Loved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Syd was a life long member of Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle, devoted to his faith in the word and deed. A generous, giving friend, he loved to tease and share a laugh. Syd loved music, playing guitar and harmonica and delighting the children with "The Train". Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday. February 8, 2005 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday February 9, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Doug Richards and Rev. James Gregory officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
