Marion P. Farthing SAINT JOHN ,NB - The death of Marion P. (Berrie) Farthing, of Woodward Avenue, Saint John, wife of the late James Harold Farthing, occurred on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at her residence. Born in Hillsborough, NB, she was a daughter of the late John and Lillian (Robinson) Berrie. Marion is survived by one son, John (Karen) Farthing of Saint John; two daughters, Sharen Farthing of Saint John and Shirley O'Connor of Halifax; three grandchildren, Kathi Sheriko, Cyndi Hall and Sean O'Connor; several great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by one sister, Marjorie ("Chick") Jeffrey. By request there will be no visiting. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2005 from Main St. Baptist Church at 7:00 pm. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Geriatric Unit, St. Joseph's Hospital.
