John Burnett January 29, 1932 - February 24, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Evergreen Funeral Home BURNETT, H. John On Thursday, February 24, 2005 John Burnett of Edmonton passed away peacefully at home at the age of 73 years surrounded by his family. John served in R.C.A.F for 22 years. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Barbara; his children, David (Dale), Terry (Cliff), Ric (Susan); seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; five sisters, Hilda MacDonald, Glady Harris, Wavie Dodman, Joyce Maxin, Dolly Havens and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 28, 2005 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. also at Evergreen Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy fund, 10425 Kingsway Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T5H 3W1, or to the Grey Nuns Hospital, c/o Palliative Unit, 13R22 - 11111 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T5K 0L4.
