THORNTON, HELEN QUEENIE At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday February 18, 2005 Helen Queenie Thornton of Upper Kingsclear, NB passed away at the age of 85. Born in Marysville, NB she was a daughter of the late Durward and Margaret (Morgan) Cameron and wife of the late Weymon Anthony Thornton. She was a retired teacher, having taught for over 30 years, in the Province of New Brunswick. She is survived by a son Laurel (Ruby) of Nipissing, Ontario; daughters Marilyn Farrell of Upper Kingsclear and Rena Clements (Jim) of Hamilton, Ontario; brother Durward Cameron (Charlotte) of Hanwell, NB; four grandchildren Alan (Shelly), Shawn (Shelley), Craig (Norma), and Michelle (Derek); eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son Marlow and a sister Jean Clark. Visitation was held at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Sunday, February 20, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home on Monday, February 21, 2005 at 12:00 pm.
