CAMICK, KENNETH A. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, February, 24th, 2005, Kenneth Allen Camick, husband of May Jean (Melanson) Camick of Maces Bay, NB. Born in Mexico, Maine, U.S.A., he is the son of the late Herbert and Muriel (Shaw) Camick. Kenneth was a long time resident of the Maces Bay area and worked dredging many ports locally and around the world. He worked with Atlantic Towing, and was a member of the SIU (Seamans International Union). He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving, in addition to his wife May, are his three sons, Brian (Gail) of Taylor Lake, Glen of Chance Harbour, NB and Stephen (Donna) of Saint John, NB; two daughters, Brenda Leger (Frankie) of Montreal, PQ, and Lori Hill (Dave) of Kingston, NB; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and cousins. Kenneth was predeceased by his two sisters, Evelyn Camick and Leora Olsen. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John, NB (506-634-1701) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, February 26th, 2005 at 1:00 pm. The interment will take place in Maces Bay Cemetery later in the spring. Visitation at "Fallsview" will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the NB Lung Association, or charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated by the family.
