Mrs. Julia Kurlak (née Leskiw) June 12, 1907 - February 22, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Richmond Funeral Home Born in Rohatyn, West Ukraine on June 12th, 1907. Passed away in Richmond, British Columbia on February 22nd, 2005. Julia Kurlak, dearly beloved wife of the late Alexander (1968). Loving mother of Stella Adamus (William) and Marianne Kurlak. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The family wish to express their sincere thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at Holy Family Hospital, Neighbourhood 3. A Prayer Service was held in the Chapel of the Richmond Funeral Home on Thursday, February 24th, 2005 at 6:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 8700 Railway Avenue, Richmond, BC on Friday, February 25th, 2005 at 10:00 am. Interment will be held on Tuesday, March 1st, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Julia's memorial may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon, 260-7000 Minoru Blvd., Richmond, BC V6Y 3Z5.
