Hudson Nicholson MALDEN, NB - The death of Hudson Nicholson, 91, of Malden, NB, occurred peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 23, 2005. Born in Bayside, NB, he was a son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Allen) Nicholson. After serving in World War II, he spent his winters working in the woods cutting pulp and summers fishing lobster with his brother Harman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Cape Tormentine Royal Canadian Legion. He will be dearly missed by his only daughter, Cindy (Carl) Delaney of Malden; five grandsons; three great grandchildren; and a brother, Elvie, Timber River. He was predeceased by four brothers, Harman, Delmer, Austin and Lee; and three sisters, Leona, Marion and Jean. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main Street, Port Elgin (364-1300) where visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2005 at 11 am from the funeral home, Rev. Rufus Onyewuchi officiating. The Cape Tormentine Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will be holding a Legion Memorial Service at the Funeral Home Thursday evening at 7:30 pm. Burial will take place in the Fernwood Cemetery in the spring. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
