GORMAN, EVA CAROLINE The death of Eva Caroline Gorman of Ward Settlement, wife of the late Ralph Gorman occurred on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Ward Settlement, NB, she was a daughter of the late Lester J. and Helen (Fullarton) Scott. Mrs. Gorman was the last surviving Charter member of the Ward Settlement Women's Institute. Eva is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by three daughters, Carol Gourley (Edward) of Fredericton, Marie Gilbert (Stephen) of Nashwaak Bridge and Daisy Hood (Mowatt) of Taymouth; three sons, Frederick Gorman of Fredericton, Donald Gorman (Sharon) of Durham Bridge and Travis Gorman (Kristine) of Lincoln; one son-in-law, Bryan Crouse of Burtt's Corner; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Scott of Ward Settlement and Violet Scott of Harvey; one brother-in-law, Bertie Hossack of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Gorman was predeceased by an infant daughter, Margaret Joan and daughter, Norma Crouse; two sisters, Bessie Foreman and Ada Hossack; four brothers, John, Fred, Percy and Donald Scott. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday, February 25th, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 4 pm from the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton with Rev. Murray McFarlane officiating and Rev. Ranall Ingalls assisting. Interment will be in the Hillcrest United Church Cemetery at a later date.
