Wallace H. Shaw November 13, 1937 - February 19, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) SHAW, Wallace H. - 67, quietly passed away on February 19, 2005, in the presence of family in QEII Health Sciences Centre, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Halifax in 1937, he was a son of, and was predeceased by, Charles and Mary (White) Shaw. Wally attended St. Pats High School and St. Mary's University. He spent most of his working years with the provincial government, finally retiring from the Department of Transportation in 1993 as Manager Accounting and Internal Audit. His passions were hockey and golf. He loved life, he loved people, he was a friend to all. Wally is survived by his wife, Sharon (Burry); daughter, Lynn MacDougall (Bill), Connecticut, U.S.A.; grandsons, Brandon, Justin; sons, Dean, Porters Lake; Jay (Stacey), Kennetcook; brother, Eddie, Ontario; sisters, June Rutt (Nelson), Ellen Flemming (Pat); several nieces and nephews. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 23, at 2 p.m., in Atlantic Funeral Home, Rev. James Haughn officiating.
