THORNTON SHIRLEY "ANNE" At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on February 22nd, 2005 Shirley "Anne"Thornton age 63 of Fredericton, passed away. Born in Fredericton, she was a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (White) Stevenson. A member of Christ Church Parish Church and member of Mother's Union. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother who very much loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are; her husband Robert (Bob) Thornton, daughters, Terri Leigh Guislain (Mark) of Minto, Sherri Doucet (Mark) of Fredericton. five grandchildren, brothers, Bobby Stevenson (Diana), Brian Stevenson (Chloe), sister Kaye Stevenson, also special niece Bettina MacNeil (Bobby) and Kate, as well as several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Margret Elizabeth Thornton. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton with visitation Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Christ Church Parish Church Westmorland Street, on Friday at 2 PM with Venerable John Sharpe officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Pallbearers with be; Jay Stevenson, Matthew Stevenson, Mike Downey, Linden Richardson, Michael Stevenson and Chad Shearer.
