O'REILLY, Violet Passed peacefully in her sleep, on the 26th day of January, 2005, in Ottawa, in her ninety-eighth year, Violet Anne O'Reilly (Smith), born in Benito, Manitoba, a long-time resident of Montreal and Ottawa. Daughter of the late Frederick Smith and Frances Agnes Annie Ashby. Wife of the late John Edward O'Reilly and sadly predeceased by her children Brian and Sheila (Mrs. Alfred Wing). She will be missed by her grandchildren Niall (Terri Rothman), Sean (Jennifer Bowman) and Susan O'Reilly, Linda (Mrs. Ted Moysey), Sandra (Mrs. Peter Kirkpatrick), Carol Wing and her great-grandchildren Timothy, Jeffery, Craig, Heather and Charlotte. She was a long-time employee of Bell Canada, in labour relations, active in the United Church and noted for her handicrafts. Lovingly cared for by her daughter-in-law Judy O'Reilly and grandchildren Sean and Susan for the past 35 years in Ottawa. We will miss her and she will be forever in our hearts.
