OBITUARY ANTHONY BALAZSI (TONY) Peacefully in his ninety-first year on January 31 at the Royal Victoria Hospital, after a long and courageous battle. He leaves behind his beloved wife Helen Fabian of sixty-five years, loving children Viola Jull, Barbara Von Karhan (Udo), and Dr. Gordon Balazsi (Suzanne), and his adoring grandchildren, Robert and Karen Jull, Erich and Kristian Von Karhan, Jonathan, Lianne and Matthew Balazsi and great-grandchildren Astrid, Ophelia and Quintin. The family extends grateful thanks to the dedicated doctors and nurses on Surgical 9W and the I.C.U. for their compassionate care, with special appreciation to Jocelyne Saint-Laurent. The family will receive condolences Thursday, February 3 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hungarian United Church, 50 Graham blvd. T.M.R. (corner L'Acadie) followed by a Funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Urgel Bourgie (corner Metropolitan blvd. and Ste. Croix). Afterwards a reception will be held at the Hungarian United Church Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Royal Victoria Hospital Nursing Education Fund, or to the Hungarian United Church.
