HIGGINS, Martin Gordon (Bampa) Tuesday, February 1st, 2005, passed away at the age of 83 years in the Perth Great War Memorial. Devoted husband of 53 years to the late Margaret. Beloved father to Brian (Wendy) and grandfather to Darlene (Dolly) and Christine (Christopher). Martin was born in Hamilton and raised in Montreal. He served in the Royal Navy during WWII and worked for the CN Railway for over 25 years. A celebration of his life will be held at the LAFLEUR FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 874 Notre Dame, Embrun. The viewing will be on Wednesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. A chapel service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
