GOLARZ, Maria (nee Smreczak). Passed away on January 31, 2005 at the age of seventy-nine after suffering from the effects of Alzheimer for the last few years she is at last at rest. Beloved wife of Ludwik (Lou) Golarz, mother of Rick and Donna, a grandmother who greatly loved her grandchildren Tiffany, Jeffrey, Timmy, Lilly, Sophie and much anticipated Luka. Survived by her sisters Stephania and much loved Victoria as well as a large extended family around the world. A heartfelt thank you to her dear friend, Mrs. Elliot. Visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, 514-685-3344 on Thursday, February 3, 2005 and on Friday, February 4, 2005 from 5 to 9 p.m. A service will take place at Church of the Resurrection on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
