ROSE, Shirley Shirley Rose, nee Robin, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2005 in hospital after a brief illness in her 84th year. A longtime resident of Ottawa, she resided in Toronto for the last 6 years and proudly lived actively and independently. She was the devoted and loving wife of the late Maurice Rose. She will be always missed and forever remembered with love as a wonderful mother and caring Bubbie by daughter Mavis (Simon) Wasserberger, son David (Laura), son Charles "Chuck" and grandchildren Deborah, Caroline, Lexi and Jordan. Dear sister of Wayne "Abe" Robin of Montreal. A Funeral Service will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, 1771 Cuba Avenue, Ottawa on Sunday, February 6, 2005 at 2 p.m. Interment Jewish Community Cemetery, Bank Street, Ottawa. Morning services in Ottawa at Beth Shalom Synagogue, 151 Chapel Street and Shiva and evening services at Minto Place Suite Hotel, 433 Laurier Ave. West, Ottawa from Sunday February 6th until Tuesday, February 8th. In Toronto, morning services at Beth Radom, 18 Reiner Road with Shiva and evening services at 1101 Steeles Ave. West, Floor P1, Apt. 112, from February 9th to February 12th. Donations may be made to the Jewish National Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements in care of the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry.
