Kate SHORKER

CAPLIN, Kate (nee Shorker). Peacefully, on Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at the age of one hundred one years. Beloved wife of the late Mack. Daughter of the late Moses and the late Anna Shorker. Most loved sister of the late Bessie, the late Fanny, the late Philip, and the late Gerry. Adored aunt of Eleanor Beller (Louis), Phyllis Weiner (Norman), Sharon Borenstein (Jack), Sondi Waldman (Murray), Gloria Stern (Lou), Zena Seligman, the late Morton Berger (the late Frances), the late Seymour Berger (Bernice) and their families. Kate was an incredible woman who will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Shirlee Solomon, Beverlee Ashmele, Lynn Waxman and their families, and by all who knew her. A special thank you to her companion and good friend Margaret Doran, and the staff of Maimonides who so lovingly took care of her.
