ROBBINS, Velma Helene. Died on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at Santa Cabrini Hospital, Rosemont, Montreal, Canada. Velma Coleman was married to Kenneth Robbins on November 8, 1975 in Watertown NY. They were penpals and subsequently met each other. From then on amusingly he referred to her as his woman. They resided in Montreal, they were married for twenty-five years. He died April 22, 2002. She is survived by son Richard Coleman, Watertown NY, son Rodney Coleman and daughter-in-law Dorothy Coleman, Old Saybrook CT and their children. Her brother Marshall Foster and his wife Bunny Foster, Willsboro NY, sister Lois Jardine, Scotia NY, surrogate family member Beverly Begg, Montreal Canada, several nieces and nephews, and also her beloved cat Tim. She was predeceased by brothers Rolland Foster, Arthur Foster, sister Clarabell Walker and niece Christine Meuse. The family will receive condolences at Complexe Funeraire Urgel Bourgie,3955 ch. Cote-de-Liesse, St. Laurent, Saturday February 5, 2005 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 12 to 1 p.m. Memorial service will take place on Sunday, February 6, 2005 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the complexe.
