VANDZURA, Anna (nee Contofalsky). It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Baba, Anna Vandzura on February 3, 2005 after a brief illness. Born January 28, 1908, she was the widow of Jan. Mother of John (Renee). Grandmother to Bob, Mark (Lori Ann Bain) and Kelly Ann (Kevin McCormack). Great-grandmother (Baba) to Samantha, Erin, Olivia, Abby, Meg, Paige (Vandzura), Sarah, Matthew (McCormack), aunt to Marian (Katarina). She also leaves behind in Slovakia sister Alzbeta and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Laflamme and staff at the trauma center of Santa Cabrine Hospital. Also heartfelt thank you to Institut Polonais du Bien Etre for making her final months so enjoyable and providing outstanding care. Resting at Jasko Moshonas Ouimet, 693 Jean Talon St. West. Condolences will be received on Sunday, February 6 from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 7 at 10 a.m. at Sst Cyril and Method Church, Jean Talon and 2nd Avenue. Interment will follow at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sst Cyril and Method would be appreciated. Finally, Heaven will be well-fed.
